Day 1: Greetings, Nashville!
Our trip's purpose was to execute 2 events, train 4 new employees and also find a secure space to hold all of our rental items. Follow along as we visit Nashville's Must Do’s and meet great people along the way!
Picking up Our Rental Car: Our journey began the moment we touched down at Nashville International Airport. After picking up our rental car, we were ready to immerse ourselves into our long work day and hit the city's vibrant streets!
Pharmacy Burgers : After picking up and securing our decor property from a friend, our first stop was Pharmacy Burgers, where we sampled mouthwatering burgers and indulged in delightful craft sodas. The signature Pharmacy Burger was a true revelation, setting the bar high for our culinary adventures in Nashville. The picnic table on the patio was such a vibey and fun atmosphere, it created such a good experience. I would highly recommend the tater tots!
Storage Solutions at Public Storage: With our stomachs satisfied, we took a practical detour to Public Storage. We secured a storage unit for our belongings, ensuring they are safe while we wait to get an office space in Nashville someday! Karen made the process so simple, we feel confident our employees will be able to go in and out with ease and security.
The Dolly House - A Nashville Bachelorette AirBnb: It was time for us to check in to our AirBnb, The Dolly House Loft. This place was PERFECT. It was the upstairs unit and greeted us with inviting rainbow stairs. There were only two of us on the trip so the three bedroom, one bath was perfect for our stay. Every room was equipped with the essentials including a “get ready” station with a light up mirror in EVERY room. The colors and details of the space were so inviting and fun! It was hard to leave this space but we will definitely be back.
Sixty Vines: As the sun set over Nashville and our work was completed for the day, we made our way to Sixty Vines, a farm-to-table restaurant celebrated for its exquisite wines and delectable dishes! Dining in an ambiance that combined sophistication and comfort, we enjoyed a memorable evening. The view of the Ryman at night was breathtaking! Our server knew so much about the menu and was able to recommend the perfect wine and entree combination for us. We will definitely be recommending this spot to our bachelorette clients.
Day 2: More Work & Exploring Music City
Set-Up Day: Our day started out with meeting two of our new Nashville employees and going over all things Girl About Town with them! We headed over to the local Publix for a grocery pickup for our client before we headed to the rental address to start the big setup. Our client purchased one of our decorating packages, Bride On Broadway, along with our fill the fridge service and also sent us some of her own goody bags to set up as well! This setup was the complete package and everything was able to be done for the clients before they arrived. They loved it so much. Be sure to check our social media for the end results! Such a successful event.
Superica: One of our employees in Nashville works at a great lunch spot called Superica and she took us there after our setup! It was such a lively Mexican restaurant offering authentic flavors. Tacos, guacamole, and spicy margaritas brought a festive flair to our midday meal. This spot is perfect for our clients, as it has plenty of space inside and outside for any type of group!
Hampton Social - Rooftop Dining with a View: In the evening, we headed to Hampton Social, where we dined on their rooftop with breathtaking views of the city. The combination of delectable appetizers and an inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience! We felt right at home with eight bachelorette parties also dining with us. It’s definitely a spot for you and your girls…. Make sure to get the Guitar Shots!
Pushing Daisies - An Underground Hideaway: Our night was far from over as we descended into Pushing Daisies, a hidden underground margarita bar. Sipping on creative concoctions, we loved the cozy and mysterious ambiance that took you out of the hustle and bustle of Broadway. Megan, the event director, came and spoke with us and made the experience feel so VIP. We are for sure heading back here next time we are in town.
Jason Aldean's Bar - The Grand Finale: To cap off our night, we couldn't resist making a stop at Jason Aldean's Bar, where the spirit of country music came alive! Dancing and singing along to live music, we talked to so many people about our Girl About Town business. What's better than dancing while also networking?!
Day 3: A Perfect Farewell
The Dolly House - A Nashville Bachelorette AirBnb: The Property manager, Malita, was able to take us on a quick tour of all 8 different properties apart of The Dolly House. It included the new Taylor Swift inspired unit! We were in awe of how detailed each unit was with colors of paint and the old history just spoke for itself! We're definitely staying at one of these when we come back!
Biscuit Love - A Southern Breakfast: On our final day in Nashville, we had to stop for a traditional Southern breakfast at Biscuit Love. The East Nasty biscuit sandwich was the ultimate comfort food!
Hillsboro Village: We explored the charming streets of Hillsboro Village, stopping at local shops and boutiques.
The Gulch: We stumbled upon Finley's and had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful locals and the owners! They have such cute gifts for a friend or even something for yourself. We are excited for some potential partnerships here.
Uncommon James - A Celebrity Encounter: Our day ended with a visit to Uncommon James, the jewelry boutique owned by reality TV star Kristin Cavallari. It was a surreal experience, capping off our trip with a touch of celebrity glamor.
