Girl About Town Takes Nashville

The Girl About Town team recently channeled our inner Shiana Twain and said “Let’s Go Girls!”, hopped on a plane and ran the streets of Nashville, TN for a week! If you didn't already know, Girl About Town will be fully servicing the Nashville area by the beginning of 2023! SO, in typical GAT fashion we had to go and experience all that Nashville had to offer! Come along with us to recap our 2022 Nashville excursion!

DAY 1

Upon arrival in Nashville, the GAT team headed out to our first dinner of the week! We stopped by Church & Union for an amazing dinner! Their atmosphere and cocktails were next level! We definitely recommend this spot for a lowkey but elevated dinner! After dinner we eagerly headed to Broadway for the FIRST TIME! The first time stepping onto Broadway definitely took our breath away! The Girl About Town team ended the night at Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar with some drinks and dancing!

DAY 2

Check out this quick snapshot from our first full day in Nashville!

We started our day off in The Gulch with some mimosas and breakfast at The Marsh House. We quickly made our way over to Kittenish and stopped to take some photos in front of the infamous Angel Wing Mural! After shopping we were supposed to head to the White Limozeen, but sometimes not everything goes as planned! The GAT team ended up stopping into Rustler Hat Co. to make some custom cowgirl hats! We can honestly say this experience BLEW US AWAY! This ended up being one of our favorite highlights of the trip! You get to custom design your hat all while being served some fun drinks (if you know what I mean).

Once our Gulch experience came to an end, it was time for dinner! But first we had to check into our AirBnb at The Femme House! We had an absolute blast staying here and are obsessed with the vibe and aesthetic of the home! They also have a location in Scottsdale, so make sure to check out The Femme House next time you are travling to Scottsdale or Nashville!

Finally we were ready to hit the town! We headed over to Hampton Social to enjoy some fresh oysters and cocktails! The espresso martinis were second to none and the rooftop bar was to die for! We definitely recommend making a reservation here next time you are in the area! After dinner, we headed straight for Broadway again! The team jammed to some live music at Casa Rosa and enjoyed some more rooftop views at Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row!

Day 3

Day 3 was jammed packed to say the least! We started the morning off at The Femme House with the Braid Babes! The Braid Babes are a mobile braiding service who specialize in big flowy boho braids for your events and bridal. They also offer braid and shimmer parties! To say we were obsessed would be an understatement!

After our braids, it was finally time to check our Urban Cowboys Line Dancing! The GAT team took an hour and a half line dancing class with Cowboy Kyle! This was another huge highlight of our trip and we can't recommend this activity enough for anyone who wants to get up and get active during their Nashville experience!

Phew! It had already been a day for the Girl About Town team! But the show must go on! Dinner for day 3 was at Sunda! Sunda is inspired by a lifetime of culinary and culturally immersed travel throughout Southeast Asia! They treated us with some amazing appetizers and gave us some great recommendations on which cocktails to order! We were also able to tour their private event space!

After dinner we quickly made our way over to The Honkey Tonk Party Express Bus! This party bus took us on a tour of downtown Nashville! Our only regret is that we didn't do this during the day! I guess that means we will just have to go back!

Day 4

By now, it was safe to say that energy levels were running low. Bowling and brunch at Pinewood Social was exactly what we needed! The GAT team played one game and ended the morning with some bloody marys! Next, it was time for The Pontoon Salon! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! This 2 hour pontoon ride took us down Cumberland River and had some amazing views! Although, the highlight was definitely the games the barback had us playing with all the other passengers! Lets just say, it had been awhile since any of us had played the popular drinking game “Thunderstruck”!!!

Last but not least, our final destination of the week was dinner at Justin Timberlake's Twenty Thirty Club! Between the chilled lobster and live music, we were more than satisfied with our experience! This was an amazing way to wind down after a crazy day and an even more eventful week!

The Girl About Town team is already counting down the days until we can go back and experience everything else we missed because we know we barely scratched the surface with all that Nashville has to offer!
