Every month we’re featuring one of the incredible Boss Babes that we know. Our November Boss Babe is Bad Girl Liz, founder of Bad Girl Productions. She is a badass boss babe who started her company as a means to pay for her college degree, and has continued to grow it exponentially.

When did you start your company?
I started my company while in college. I needed a fun way to make money to pay for UCSD.
WHAT WAS THE BEST COCKTAIL YOU'VE EVER HAD AND WHERE WAS IT?
The best cocktail was a Mai Tai at Lago Mar Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The next best Mai Tai was at Tommy Bahamas Restaurant in Palm Desert CA.
WHY DID YOU WANT TO WORK/START AT THIS COMPANY?
I started the company so I can pay for college. Then I hired all my friends to work for me so they can pay for their college too. Every quarter at UCSD I paid cash for my college tuition. That was a proud moment. The company grew quickly. We were doing radio and TV shows, in addition to planning bach parties. You can see me on Playboy TV. I love the entertainment and tourism industry. What I love even more is giving everyone an opportunity to make money. I love money.
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT OF QUITTING? WHAT DID YOU DO TO GET YOU BACK ON TRACK?
Absolutely. There are definite hard days when you aren't sure what to do. To keep me on track - I stay focused on the goal: to keep myself and my crew making money. There is always a way. Someone always comes in your social circle that introduces you to the right person or the best bright idea. Then - you must take action and execute. Just keep on trying.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO LISTEN TO IN YOUR CAR? (PODCASTS, MUSIC, AUDIOBOOKS, ETC.)
I listen to Pandora. My favorite stations are: Billie Ellish, Khalid, Bluetech, Adam Freeland and Afrobeats Radio. These are some of my top favorites right now. Those and Mozart.
WHO IS SOMEONE YOU LOOK UP TO? (CAN BE FAMOUS, FAMILY… OR FAMOUS FAMILY.)
Hugh Hefner. I admire him because he built an empire against the norm. He built a strong brand. He created opportunities for others to build their own empire leveraging off the brand of Playboy. Many of the women featured in Playboy Enterprises have gone on to be successful women in their careers. It is impressive what he created. He created a culture.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU ARE NOT WORKING?
When I am not working I like to chill with my rescue chihuahua. His name is Little Leo. I also love spending time relaxing in the sun, going to the beach, doing yoga and helping my family.
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
I am most proud of the Bad Girl Empire I built. I am also proud of the college degrees I earned.
IF YOU COULD GIVE ANY ADVICE TO YOURSELF 10 YEARS AGO WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
Travel. Keep on traveling and exploring the world. Gain insight, wisdom and knowledge. Always keep learning.
