Who doesn’t love attending a nice luncheon? I know I do and I also love throwing them. A “Luncheon” is a tad fancier than a breakfast but not as fancy as a formal dinner.
Girl About Town was asked to host the lunch portion for The Real Housewife of Scottsdale, Mandy Holms HOliday Influencer event. She was inviting the top media and Valley influencers in to enjoy an afternoon at the Hotel Valley Ho. The guests first went up to the Presidential Suite to check out the new and hip stores and boutiques our town has to offer. Guests were greeted with a mimosa and toured around the suite seeing items that ranged from holiday pillows, to home decor to tasting yummy treats by Unicorn Cupcakes.
While the influencers enjoyed the VIP treatment by Mandy, we (Girl About Town) were busy getting ready in the dinning room. We were so fortunate to have so many wonderful local business who wanted to be a part of our event. UrbAna let us use their placemats and balloons. Candlerose provided a beautiful ambiance with their Pumpkin Spice candles. La Tavola Linen added the table runners to two of the tables, and Tatum Flowers provided all three table centerpieces. A last minute decision to add a photo op spot was created by Dang! Fine Rentals and Design . Thanks to Shoogie Box each guest left with a customized “party” box.
I am so thankful for everyone’s hard work and dedication to making the luncheon perfect.
Being able to see our vision come to life was magnificent and it was fun seeing a few friends from the media who were not aware of Girl About Town. We look forward to the next event and hope to work with both Mandy and the Hotel Valley Ho again!
